Information Architect (IA)
As the job of an Information Architect is a pretty new one
and especially in Europe not quite common yet, I am trying
to give an overview of the field of Information Architecture:
"Information architecture, is basically about
- taking content and
- creating a structure to
- present that content to an audience.
The information architect's job to ensure that information
is well-organized and presented in an easily accessible
interface."
"The work of an information architect involves the design
of organization, labeling, navigation, and
searching systems to help people find and manage information
more successfully."
